Q. Histone gene are unusual among eukaryotic genes in that they do not have introns, and histone mRNAs do not have poly(A) tails. Furthermore in almost all eukaryotes, genes are arranged in multiple tandem domains, each domain carry one copy of each of the five histone genes. Suggest an example for these features in terms of the special requirements for histone synthesis.
